    Uncle Tom's food is GREAT FOOD, we've eaten there for years now & after trying the other Chinese restaurant in town twice now when Uncle Tom's was closed for their anual trip back to see family in China we will never eat anywhere but Uncle Tom's again when it comes to a guaranteed excellent Chinese dish. The dining in experience is fine it is nice & cool in the summer & cozy in the winter you can BYOB as well. The food however is always wonderful never had a bad meal there ever, Uncle Tom learned his culinary skills from his Grandmother, mum & aunties in China his cooking authentic, the real deal as well as some western/Chinese edtions to keep the Aussies happy. Uncle Tom's food will never disappoint your taste buds. The servings are generous to a fault you couldn't fit more on the plate or in the take away box if you wanted to. The usual preparation time from the time you place your order to pick up is 15 to 20 mins. & they accept EFTPOS, Credit Card & Cash. We had a large group of Chinese young people in town & Uncle Tom's was closed so we went across the street, unfortunately for our Chinese guests they said after the meal of which a load of food still remained on their plates...they said after leaving Singh Wa ~ that food is nothing like real Chinese food we don't know what that was & they all had a good laugh.     I was looking forward to a great hamburger... having had one on a previous trip through Tenterfield.. i ordered a " $9:50 egg and bacon burger" and got a $9:50 bacon and egg roll" will go back to the better burgers at the fish and chip shop the best burgers ( and price ) in Tenterfield
